The puja area is cleansed with Gangajal and sanctified with incense and mantras. The Shiva Lingam is anointed with sandalwood and decorated with Bilva leaves and flowers.

Invocation

Devotees perform Ganesh Puja and Sankalpam (intent) before invoking Lord Shiva through Vedic mantras and Rudra chants.

Offering
