In Hinduism, Shat Chandi Yajna is a very powerful, extraordinary and big yagna. This yagna is performed by a very capable and learned Brahmin. 700 shlokas are recited in this Shat Chandi Yajna. This brings special blessings of Maa Durga. In ancient times, this yagna was always performed by sages, saints, gods and demons to gain immense power.

Then throw some soil out of the Havan Kund with the ring finger and sprinkle the altar with pure water with the right hand. In this way, light the fire with Panchbhoot Sanskar of the altar and worship Agnidev. Then after this, start the worship of Maang Durga by worshiping all the Isht Devtas including Lord Ganesha.
