The ancient Lakshmi Narayan Temple in Kashi is being lovingly restored by the Kashi Archan Foundation. This sacred initiative revives a forgotten shrine of Lord Vishnu and Maa Lakshmi, aiming to restore its original spiritual grandeur. The temple renovation includes structural strengthening, sanctum beautification, idol restoration, and the revival of daily puja rituals. Devotees can now witness the divine aura of Shri Lakshmi Narayan in a rejuvenated space filled with bhakti, purity, and Vedic tradition.

About the Temple & Renovation

Nestled in the divine city of Kashi, the Lakshmi Narayan Temple has long stood as a beacon of Vishnu bhakti and Vaishnava tradition. With time, the temple structure had fallen into disrepair, and its vibrant spiritual energy faded. In a noble initiative, the Kashi Archan Foundation has taken up its complete renovation—restoring sanctity, sacred rituals, and cultural significance.

The renovation work includes restoration of the sanctum sanctorum, reinstallation of the Vigraha (idols), structural repairs, temple art repainting, and creation of a new mandapam for devotees. Special attention is being given to revive daily Lakshmi Narayan pujas, festivals like Vaikuntha Ekadashi, and annadan sevas.

Under the guidance of learned Shastris and local artisans, the project aligns with Vastu and Agama Shastras. Kashi Archan Foundation also invites devotees to sponsor archana, shringar, vastra, and deep daan as part of this divine service. The aim is not just renovation, but spiritual rejuvenation.
